NCSF Personal Trainer Training School Steps ...
The NCSF Personal Trainer Training School is a structured 32 contact hour course designed for those students looking
for maximal supervision and structure throughout their learning experience.
Each class addresses pertinent topics of the health fitness professional. From
health screening and assessment to comprehensive program design for multiple
populations, the course empowers students with the skills necessary to become a
qualified fitness professional.
Complementing each weeks lecture component are various interactive
practical lab experiences. The lab experiences are an important aspect of the
course as they bridge the gap between theory and practice and help to reinforce
the key course concepts. It is vital that students become competent in the application
of professional skills to ensure safe and effective delivery of service to
their respective clientele. Sample lab experiences include resistance training
programming, body composition analysis techniques, and nutritional reviews.
After a completion of the Personal Trainer Training School Course students should be well
prepared to take the NCSF Certified Personal Trainer examination. The exam is given at Prometric testing
centers in nearly 400 locations throughout the United States and Canada. If you do not
register for the exam at the time of your Training School enrollment you may do so at
anytime after by contacting the NCSF at 800-772-NCSF(6273).
