Upon registration for the NCSF Personal Training Workshop Course & Exam Combo plus Package, each candidate is sent a course materials package consisting of the Personal Trainer Course Textbook, Personal Trainer Study Guide Manual, Reference Guide, Lesson Plan, Concepts of Training CD-ROM, NCSF Personal Training Technique & Assessment DVD video, and all the necessary workshop attendance information. Additionally, the combo plus package includes the NCSF Practice Exams with questions designed to resemble the level of difficulty and relative content of the NCSF-CPT exam, so that students can self-evaluate their readiness to take the NCSF-CPT exam. The Practice Exams have also been designed to serve as a valuable study tool, enabling test candidates to address the questions first without seeing the answer, then referring to detailed explanations presented in the back. This allows the test candidate to evaluate themselves and better understand any items answered incorrectly. Also, the plus package incorporates the step-by-step exam instruction kit that details the exam procedure. Upon completion of the studies, the candidate simply follows the exam scheduling instructions and sets-up an exam appointment.
