This program covers the same content areas as both the Workshop as well as Training School courses.

Home Study Program

Option One of the Military Support Plan provides qualifying personnel the National Council on Strength & Fitness Home Study Course & Certification Exam in addition to practice exams and membership at a savings of $218.00. The home study course offers a flexible and convenient learning model which will build your competencies and knowledge for success on the exam. The practice exams will challenge your knowledge and provide real test experience and include complete explanations of the answers ensuring you are adequately prepared for the national certification exam. On-demand scheduling means the certification exam is available at the date, time and location of your choosing.

Workshop Program

Option One Workshop Program of the Military Support Plan provides qualifying personnel the National Council on Strength & Fitness Workshop Course & Certification Exam in addition to practice exams and membership at a savings of $218.00. The workshop program is a two-part exam preparation model consisting of a self study component as well as hands-on workshop. These two parts work together to provide a read, write, and apply style educational format. By completing both segments of the program individuals develop the knowledge and skill set necessary to take the NCSF-CPT. The practice exams will challenge your knowledge and provide real test experience and include complete explanations of the answers ensuring you are adequately prepared for the national certification exam. On-demand scheduling means the certification exam is available at the date, time and location of your choosing.

The popular self paced model offers a lesson plan and study materials that progress certification candidates through knowledge and skill development culminating in the NCSF-CPT exam. The exam is offered using on-demand scheduling, therefore providing convenient testing options.

The Workshop Course is designed specifically for students who prefer a self-paced, directed study combined with a two-day, hands-on, learn by doing component that complements the learning experience. This format allows students the opportunity to review the exam content areas while turning theoretical concepts into practical applications required of a personal trainer under the guidance of expert NCSF instructors. Personal Trainer Workshops are conducted on weekends and are offered around the country throughout the year. They cover the same content areas as the Home Study and Training School courses.
