Earning College Credit Steps ... Individual educational achievements and approved organizational course offerings are captured and recorded in a universally accepted document through the American Council on Education Transcript Service. Upon successful completion of an approved course the NCSF will send you step by step instructions on how to receive your college credits and transcripts. All American Council on Education evaluated courses and examinations appear on one transcript and can be released to any college at any time. The American Council on Education cooperating colleges use the guides and the ACE Transcript to help them understand where your training might fit inside their degree programs. Ultimately, every college and university has the discretion to accept credit for your American Council on Education college credit recommendations as they see fit. Sometimes the structure of a degree program or departmental regulations may affect acceptance of American Council on Education college credit recommendations. Be sure to contact the college where you intend to apply before starting the application process, to find out their policies beforehand. |
