Personal Trainer Certification Exam Scheduling
Once a candidate has registered with the National Council on Strength and Fitness and has received their exam confirmation notice they can then schedule an appointment to take the Personal Trainer Certification Exam. Scheduling as well as rescheduling, if necessary, is handled directly through Prometrics. An exam candidate has three options to schedule their exam date, time, and location:

online scheduling system. The NCSF provides you with the steps to schedule using this method in the exam eligibility documentation
you receive when you register.

Examination scheduling can also be made over the telephone using the Prometric toll free exam scheduling number. The NCSF provides you with the steps in the exam eligibility documentation that you receive when you register for the exam.
Candidates can also schedule their exam in person at their local Prometric testing center. The NCSF provides you with the steps in your exam eligibility documentation you receive upon exam registration to schedule using this method.
After a candidate has scheduled an appointment to take the Personal Trainer Certification Exam, Prometric will provide the candidate with a final confirmation number for their exam appointment.
